Seven organic grains, beans and legumes are hand-blended to create a superfood boost for your bird's diet without the Sunflower. The sprouting process releases digestible enzymes, allowing the body to absorb more proteins, vitamins, and minerals than dry seeds.
Once sprouted, this blend can be added to fresh chops, foraging bowls or used in bird recipes.
Suitable for all birds and great for people learning how to sprout. If you're looking for an easier raw food option, see our soaking blends.

Start by measuring the desired amount of seeds, using a clean measuring cup. A good guideline is about one tablespoon per bird, per day.
Rinse the seeds thoroughly under cold water using a sprouting jar or similar container to remove dust or debris. Continue rinsing until the water runs mostly clear.
Soak the seeds for 24 hours. During this time, the water may change color—this is normal and not a cause for concern.
After soaking, you’ll notice the seeds have absorbed water and expanded. Some may even begin sprouting at this stage, which is perfectly fine. Rinse again under cold water until the water runs clear, then drain.
Throughout the sprouting process, it’s essential to rinse and drain the seeds regularly to prevent mold and maintain hydration. Aim to do this at least four times a day. Keeping the sprouting jar near the sink is a helpful reminder, and you can’t over-rinse the seeds.
After about a day, the seeds will begin to grow tiny "tails." At this stage, they’re ready to be offered to your birds. Sprouted seeds are most nutritious when the tails are just starting to appear. Some types, like sunflower seeds, may take a bit longer, but they are still safe to feed if they are just beginning to sprout. Under optimal conditions, the sprouting process should take no more than two days.
It can be soaked in any clean container, but you will require a fine strainer as some seeds are very small. Our Beginner Sprouting Jar works best. Soak out of direct sunlight in a cool dark place.

Java Play Perch
Tancy Z
Great toy!
Peri loves this toy. He must found his beak power and destroy it in 5 minutes! Great chew toy and able to be destroyed. More suitable for the smaller parrot. The Java Bush Shredder is a better option for Macaws with more chew bits and last longer much longer :)
