Shipping Restrictions – Western Australia & Tasmania
Due to strict state quarantine laws, certain products cannot be shipped to Western Australia or Tasmania. We have created this guide to help clarify which items are restricted and how Pixie Paws Pets manages affected orders to protect local ecosystems.
❗ Why Are Some Items Prohibited?
Western Australia and Tasmania have unique quarantine regulations to protect their local ecosystems and agricultural industries. This means certain items — especially those containing seeds, raw nuts, or organic plant matter — are strictly prohibited from entry by state border authorities.
📦 What Happens If I Order a Prohibited Item?
If your order contains a restricted item, we will email you immediately to offer the choice to swap it for an unrestricted product of equal value.
If we do not receive a response within 3 business days, we will automatically refund the restricted item to your original payment method and dispatch the remainder of your order.

- Raw for birds Food Blends
- Freeze Dried Fruit and Vegetables Blends
- Bird Nerd Bird Toys and Perches.
- Vetafarm Treat Bars
- Avian Delight Treat Bars
- Nuts in Shell
- Sprouting Blends
- Soaking Blends
- Foraging Materials
- Any other product containing seeds, nut etc.
