ℹ️ Description

Bring a touch of the Aussie bush straight into your pet’s cage with the Birdnerd Aussie Gum Platform Perch. Made from sustainably sourced gum tree wood, each perch is completely unique in shape, size, and texture, with natural grain and bark details that add rustic charm while also giving your birds feet variety to stand on. The flat, sturdy surface is ideal for perching, playing, snacking, or simply relaxing, while helping to keep feet healthy and active.

Not just for birds, these natural platforms are also a wonderful addition for small pets like rats and mice, creating cosy resting spots or extra climbing ledges inside their enclosures. For a little added creativity, they can even be arranged as fun “stepping stones” creating a natural ladder type setup, giving both feathered and furry friends new ways to climb, explore, and stay active.

Each perch measures approximately 13–16cm in diameter with an average thickness of 2.3cm. Installation is simple with the included wing nut and washer, ensuring the platform stays secure while still allowing easy repositioning. Each perch is sold individually and selected at random — a one-of-a-kind slice of the Aussie bush for your flock or furry friends to enjoy.

As these perches are made from Australian natural wood, minor cracks or areas where the bark is incomplete may occur. This is completely normal and simply part of each piece’s unique beauty.

Please note price is per perch.

Great quality, easy to use and love that the bark is left on for shredding

Was a little disappointed with the size

Was a little disappointed with the size, was hoping to get something a bit bigger for a large bird cage. Otherwise they are good.

Fantastic product

Fantastic product, it’s actually much thicker and sturdier than I was expecting. Little Hawk loves it in his travel cage - perfect for afternoon snacks in the sun.
I will have to get another main cage too!

Disabled lorikeets love them
