🚫 Shipping Restrictions – Western Australia & Tasmania

Due to strict quarantine laws, some products cannot be shipped to Western Australia or Tasmania.

We’ve created this page to help clarify what’s restricted and how Pixie Paws Pets handles affected orders.

 

❗ Why Are Some Items Prohibited?

Western Australia and Tasmania have unique quarantine regulations to protect their ecosystems. This means certain items — especially those containing seeds, nuts, or plant matter — are not permitted for import.

📦 What Happens If I Order a Prohibited Item?

If a restricted item is ordered for delivery to WA or TAS:

• We will contact you via email or phone.
• You’ll be able to exchange the item for something of equal or greater value, or
• We can issue store credit for the Prohibited items.

We want to make it as easy as possible to find an alternative your bird will love.
Please note: Your order will not be shipped until we receive your response and confirm a solution for the prohibited item/s.

• Avian Delight Treat Bars
• Nuts in Shell
• Sprouting Blends
• Foraging Materials
• Foraging Grass
• Any other product containing seeds, nut etc.

Note: Restricted items are clearly labelled on their product titles.
For example: "Avian Delight Bar (Excl. TAS & WA)"
